    Need some 411

I have been on TBH for a very long time but have not posted in quite some time. I have not been actively bowhunting for a couple of years now due to work and family issues but it is time to get back.

Anyway, I was sorting through my arrow collection and realized that I needed to get some new arrows. Where is the best place on the web to pick up new shafts these days?

    Thanks in advance.

I try to use my local dealer. Go in and hand pick some good arrows then walk out with them.

I would to if it was a legit option. But I have had spotty success with the locally owned store (if they are still in business). And I don't feel like taking it in the wallet at gander mountain unless I have to. Not many options around here.

Check the archerytalk.com classifieds. A lot of times you can find a dozen new shafts pretty cheap because someone bought the wrong ones or something.

There are several online shops that will cut and fletch for you. Many of them work through ebay.

Here's another option. They have been in a business a long time:

I agree- it has changed quite a bit over the last few years (for the better). But if you are set on ordering online, I bought my most recent ones (FMJ's) off of Cabelas website.

Every now and then camofire will have some cheap, but you never know- might be a while and they might not be the ones you want...

You can watch camofire.com until they post some up.
Usually a good deal when they do.

I have bought several dozen Gold Tip XT Hunters off Ebay for a reasonable price. Lubbock Indoor is definitley a good place. Just holler at Jeff or Josh and they can fix you up. Higher prices than mail order, but they will take care of you for whatever you need. Good guys there. I would recommend Lubbock Indoor to make sure you get the right spined arrows to start with.
