    anyone know how to do a motor swap?

    i have a 1990 toyota pickup extended cab 4x4 3 in lift on 33s 22re motor wanna put a 350 in it... need some help

    I've got an 85 with the same engine, once it cools off some I'm going to rebuild it.

    Lots of info there. They have a engine swap section with threads on how to put any engine you want in a yota. The hardest part will be the wiring harness if you are going the TBI route. If you are putting a carb in it, you shouldn't have many problems.

      I swapped a Buick V6 into my 1980 Toyota years ago. I used a company called Downy for all the adapters. I don't think they are in business anymore though. It wasn't that hard. Just time consuming. Still runs like a scalded cat!

          awesome thanks guys yea this will be my first motor swap so im really anxious and excited. still trying to decide on carb or fuel injected though... any advice?

            You will get better cold weather starts with fuel injection.
