Anthony Bourdain - No Reservations - Travel Channel - Hog Dog Hunt

For those who don't know about this. He is an ex-chef and just travels around the world and gives you a feel for the City,food and the culture of each place he visits. He's kind of an *** but that makes it entertaining.

Anyway, I was watching his show the other night and he was in New Zealand hunting wild boar with dogs. He is a smoker and could not keep up with them at all, but they did a pretty good job of keeping it real. Not too much of the blood and gore but they did show the knife and just about showed the throat-cutting after they caught one.

They showed some of the skinning and then he cooked a traditional NZ meal. Pretty entertaining and glad to see it on this channel.

Anyone else catch it?

I love that show. I watch it all the time. Wait till you see them go to Africa and he eats warthog. Same situation Bushmen shot it with a stick bow and poison arrow and followed it around till it died. Since they are in a desert they clean it with out water and offer him the best part. Warthog Anus At least they cooked it.

Yup but the warthog wasent cooked all that much. Love the show. He's a wuss when it comes to the killing part. How did he think he got his protien when he was a chef.

I watched part of that show, but missed that part. I think I turned on a Thirsty Traveler episode and watched that instead.

He actually killed a pig in Malaysia. As the honored guest it had to plunge the spear in to the pig.
