    Speed Goat Hunt-Need advice

Going to WY in October to hunt the ever elusive Speed Goat. Ive got three days to get it done. I want to get it done with my bow. My question is this. Decoy or water hole? I've have a full unit to myself and no preasure on the animals. What do you guys think?

Decoy would be much more fun. Search it on you tube and learn a few tactics.

When in October? It may be a little late to get them on the decoy, but you never know.

Water is probably going to be the best bet as long as a cold front doesn't come thru. That time of year, I've had weather range from mid-70's to -(minus)15. If water's not working, spot & stalk.

You might want to check the rut dates in that area, might be done when you get there.
Water holes are always a good bet, wind mills even better, they make noise. Take a pop up blind or two and set them up for different wind directions

I've got pop-ups and decoys going with me. Gonna be there 13-15th
Thought about water hole first day, spot and stalk second day. And go from there...

This and what Txnrog said. It is probably going to be too late to decoy effectively.
