Going to WY in October to hunt the ever elusive Speed Goat. Ive got three days to get it done. I want to get it done with my bow. My question is this. Decoy or water hole? I've have a full unit to myself and no preasure on the animals. What do you guys think?

Decoy would be much more fun. Search it on you tube and learn a few tactics. -
When in October? It may be a little late to get them on the decoy, but you never know.
Water is probably going to be the best bet as long as a cold front doesn't come thru. That time of year, I've had weather range from mid-70's to -(minus)15. If water's not working, spot & stalk.Comment

You might want to check the rut dates in that area, might be done when you get there.
Water holes are always a good bet, wind mills even better, they make noise. Take a pop up blind or two and set them up for different wind directionsComment
