    Academy deal...corn

Didn't see it posted...academy had 40 lb bags of corn for $6.99 today. It wasn't in the salespaper but there was a sign in store. Flex corn is still $5.99.

5.99 for flex corn is a heck of a deal...if nothing else to throw out corn before a hunt or to corn a scendero. 6.99 isnt that good of a deal IMO

Went by today and they went up on the price from what they were selling it for. but they did have flex corn. What all does flex corn have in it?

          Flex corn is the devil.

I don't think $5.99 is that good of a deal on it anyway. Don't they sell it in 35# bags or something squirrelly like that?

Search it on here. It works for some people and others it doesn't. About everyone says its not good once it gets wet. I use it at the house mixed with corn and they tear it up every evening.

Think of a sawdust pellet that looks like a small corn pop when you think of flex corn..

Considering academy has been the cheapest on corn at $8.49 for the same bag around here...I was fairly impressed.

8.49 is not that good a deal. Its not a deal at all actually. Its the same as paying 11 for a 50# bag. I can still get it cheaper than than that

No where near where i live or hunt though. At least not that I've found and I've called most of'em too...

My buddy bought a few sacks from Academy for $6.99 about 3 weeks ago in Dallas and it was probably the 2nd dirtiest corn I've ever seen. We'll see if his feeder is clogged next time we go up.

I paid 6.98 / 40 Lb bag at Dicks this past weekend. That's the equivalent of 9.00 / 50Lb bag. That is the cheapest I can get corn in the DFW area. Corn was very clean!

When they saw my sticker on the truck, they wanted me to know that they had changed corn suppliers, apparently the GS had bashed them in the past for dirty corn. Somebody there is reading the GS. Anyway, the corn was clean! and No, I do not work for Dicks.

                            X2 on 8.49 per 40 being a bad deal.

Some of you remember that if it isn't cheaper where we live/hunt your better prices would be lost on gas going to where you go.
