    I Phone Draining Battery

Anyone have any insight as to why my I-Phone 4 would be draining the battery crazy fast? I keep all the apps closed,,, I could go 2 days on a chrage if need be before but now I can pretty much sit and watch it drop. Off a full charge it will be on 75% inside of an hour without even using it. Either the battry is junked out or somethng is running.. Any Ideas?

Check your settings. See if the location setting is enabled. I disable mine.

Check your wireless and see what else may be running. Really sounds like there is a hardware problem and not an app running deal. Wish I could help more.

Close apps running in the background ... Double cluck the center button and the active icon menu will appear, hold your finger on one of the icons until they begin to wiggle- then close them all down! I have to do this about once every few days or the phone eats batteries and is slow as all get out

                That^^^

what kind of signal strength do you have? Low signal will drain a battery. If you're not in a 3G area, turn off 3G.

How old is the phone? Did you used to have a habit of "babying" the battery? (charging it every hour or so, or anytime you're near a charger).

email settings... check to make sure your push settings are set to manual

Location is on or a gps app is running in the background.
Also extend your auto update times on email and turn off push notificatios.
O yeah... Heat will absolutely kill an iPhone battery.

get battery magic app and it will tell you all the things to shut down to save battery time. Oh wait, that's another app... But it works.

Also some apps stay on even if you close them, double tap the home button and it will show all apps still open at the bottom of the screen the native apps are okay but the others can drain the phone. Touch and hold one till they start shaking touch the minus sign to exit out of the ones still active. When done double tap home button again to exit out.

Are you in analog area? Analog sucks digital phone dry fast. If you don't see E (for edge) or 3G, then you're in analog territory.
