Bobcat killed deep inside Tyler city limits, kind of funny

KLTV just ran a story that a bobcat was killed inside the city limits

According to the old man they interviewed it was chasing a possum and got hit by a car.

Not any surprise that there are wild critters in the city limits

I got to laughing at the poor woman they interviewed, she kept going on and on, worried one was going to attack her kids while they were playing in the yard. I feel sorry for folks that have never been out of the city and think all critters are out to get them

I wonder.......perhaps her kids look like possums?

One was in the backyard of a neighbor down the street a couple months ago, he was yelling at it to go away, he thought it was a house cat. He walked closer and saw it was a bobcat, scared him pretty bad because it never moved when he was yelling. Houses are popping up in the wooded places and next thing you know ol bob has lots of dog food and cat food to eat.

I've seen one behind super 1 on 110 almost to the loop and there was one photographed in the yard at the brookshires warehouse.

Animals are on the move.......saw a fox yesterday INSIDE the Frankston city limits on 175 as I was heading to Jacksonville, he was patiently waiting for traffic to clear so he could cross the highway. The thing was so big that I initially mistook it for a coyote. I regularly see coyote poop on Old Noonday road during my walks, and they've been in the pasture between my house and the Noonday VFD.......

Hmmmmm - you mean they are not out to get me? If they would just quit stalking me I would not be so paranoid!!!!

Wow! I guess since the Caldwell Zoo is not to far from there.

Here in The Trails subdivision inFrisco, we got an email notice sent out by our neighborhood HOA representative a few weeks ago, with pics of a big bobcat walking down an alley then between a couple of houses. I've seen coyotes along the greenbelt through the neighborhood as well. There are enough rabbits around to keep them well fed, so there's no reason for them to leave.
