Me and others like the spot hog because it is rock solid. It is extremely hard to bump it it of zero even if dropped out of a tree stand. It is heaver than a lot of others on the market but thats because it does not have all the plastic parts that the others have.
I also like the True Glo that is adjustable with turning nobs and the one that hast the different pin sizes.
Shooting one of the extreme 3 pins. Remove 1 pin and use 1 for "close" shots - probably sighted in @ 15-18 yards - and 1 for "far" shots - probably sighted @ 25 yds. With that I can pretty much cover anything from 0 - 40 yds but holding pin above or below. I have been pleased w/sight so far - pins are bright and easy to tune.
Shooting the Trophy Ridge Micro Alpha V5 vertically aligned pin sight. Can't see going back to a horizontal sight. This sight has excellent light gathering ability with very bright fiber pins that work great in low light. It also has a sight light that channels all of the light directly into the fiber pins with very little light visible from the outside. The fiber ring as viewed from the front has a slight glow but that's about it. I have been very happy with this sight.
