ROUND MOUNTAIN, Texas -- KVUE News has learned a brush fire is burning on the Blanco/Burnet County line near Round Mountain and US 281 and 962 North.
The Texas Forest Service estimates 200 acres have burned and 50 residences are threatened. Three commercial buildings are also threatened. Two out buildings have been destroyed.
A Texas Forest Service spokesperson says the fire was started by a flat tire on a trailer. Fires were sparked in two places on Bird Lane and then merged to form one larger fire.
Two tanker planes have been sent to help fight the blaze.
One firefighter has suffered minor injuries. One civitlian has been treated for stress-related injuries
