    Building Apps for Iphone

    Does anybody on the GS build Apps? I have an idea for one but need to get prices on what it cost to have an app built. Thanks

      you better have deeeeeeep pockets as you can spend from $5K ~ $250K + depending on the complexity and developer used

      going rate seems to be around $150/hr as it may take 2-3 developers several hundred hours total.

          If you engage, just make sure in your RFP, you have a scope, requirements, functional/technical design & test plan documented & that you retain all intellectual property rights.

          $150/hr is in the ball park, but I can't see an mobile app being more than 80-120 hrs to design/develop/commercialize unless it's somewhat complex (e.g. integrating w/ other applications, databases, software, etc.)

            You're welcome to pm me some details for a ballpark figure on it. If its something you can do as a mobile webapp its definitely cheaper, there are a few other ways to trim costs also, really depends on exactly what the app does.
