    HELP from Video Pros

I need someone to lead me through the process of putting your video from the Camcorder to the computer.
I've got a Canon GL2 camcorder and I don't know the 1st thing of how to go about seeing it on my computer (Apple MacBook Pro). The camera has a cable that connects to the camera and the other end has a USB connector. Do I need some other type of cable, or do I need camera software on my computer? I connect the cables to the camera and the computer and my Mac should automatically pick up on connections and show an Icon that it's reading a new devise and it's not doing anything. Can anybody help?

Rudy....give me a call at 2817053749 and I'll try to walk you through it. It would be best if you had a firewire cable....much faster than USB. But you can use USB>

Bobby's got it right, you need a Firewire cable to make it easy. Get a 4 pin to 6 pin Firewire (IEEE 1394) cable and your MB Pro will launch iMovie HD '08 automatically and walk you through the import process. If you've got Final Cut Pro, that will start instead I believe....
