hard for me to age not knowing the county, but if I was a betting man I'm sure at some point in his life he had a severe injury to his left side or maybe right side. His back foot doesnt look right.

That deer is not a day older than 2.5...look at his neck... As far as what happened to the rack...could be a number of things!
