I used to intall all kinds of broadheads without use of a tool, until I had an insert slip.Cut index finger to the bone.Lesson learned.

Ouch, I did it too, trying to take it off cept I was just lazy. Lol. ..Yes, get a broadhead wrench. But don't just get one, you gotta use it. Sliced my finger trying to take it off. Mine wasn't that bad, hope yours wasn't.

I almost did that last season, luckily common sense kicked in and I used a leatherman. I hope your finger heals quickly. I always carry super glue for when common sense doesn't stop me from doing something stupid.

Bohning makes one that fits the Slick Trick perfectly, it's red and has a 3 blade wrench on one end and a 4 blade wrench on the other.

And I've done the same thing. For some reason I thought the Slick Trick I had been using for target practice for quite some time would much duller. Duller yes, too dull to slice open my index finger . . . no

ouch, I'm guess this is one the good times to have small hands like I do. My fingers fit between the blades perfectly. I have never cut my self doing so (knock on wood).
