I saw a doe jump into a good high fence from a down hill slop. In all, it had to be around 10 foot. I think the fence does help but its no sure deal that deer will not get into or out of.

They will go if they want or need to. I've seen and Eland jump a 9ft fence in Kenya without a problem. Talk about impressive!Comment

they can if they want to or if they are pushed hard enough. iv seen multiple deer at my ranch slam into the fence bout 6ft high and bounce right off it, get up and run the other way. i have never seen one actually clear the entire fence. but then again i havent ever pushed them real hard.Comment
