Long story short I got a 5x6 trailer gutted it to the frame worked all weekend building a stand on it. So last night I finished up to go take my newborn son off my wifes hands so she could finish her paper for school ( masters at Texas womens) ya I'm proud k! so picked up my mess put my tools on the trailer an backed under my carport next to my wifes car... This Mornin I leave for work at 4am trailers still there get home at 10 to get ready for next job... An notice my trailer was gone!!!!!!! So not only did they steal all my tools (impact drill, chop saw, skill saw, tool box aka my mcgiver kit) but my our bedroom window is 10 ft from the carport!!! My wife an newborn son were Layin there an she leaves at 6 to take my son to my moms.. What wouldve happened had they walked out on them ( the trailer had two flat an was a 1 7/8" ball so they obviously loaded it on another trailer so wasn't just a quick process) It makes me sick I feel violated and feel like I haven't adequetly protected my family! I wish I wouldve been there to let my 22-250 sittin next to the door do the talking. I'll be doin some modifications to the security of my house so I feel I'm keeping my family safe which this shows I've obviously slacked!

wow that took some effort. I keep a trailer lock on all my trailers, but I guess it wouldnt have helped you much if they loaded it onto another trailer. you might want to drive around the neighborhood incase they didnt load it onto another trailer, they might not have gotten very far.Comment

That sux brother! Report all of your items to the cops and let them do their work. Hopefully your insurance will cover you losses but I understand about how your feeling right now.Comment

I hate a thief!! I feel bad for you man ... especially having your family so close to the crime scene. Yes, definitely finish your security system and put in your gate as soon as possible. Hope your stuff was all covered by insurance. Call police and give a good description and serial numbers on your property.Comment

I'm putting up cameras on the house I just bought.. in plain view, and a couple signs in english and spanish on the alley fence saying "smile you are on camera" or "si usted puede ver esta señal, estoy tomando tu foto"... I"m hopeful that the neighbors spread the word that the new dude has cameras and guns and to walk on the other side of the street..
i'll make friends with some of them i'm sure - but it's best to be feared by the masses.

well I guess goes to show u how far bein a dumb***** will get you! Found the trailer half a mile down the road run off the road! ( that's what happens when ur to stupid to realize it's a 1 7/8 trailer) all tools an material were gonna except the ones that were obviously broken, but I don't care Id rather them be broke then them get em! Makes me wanna go get a sign that says " smooth move dumb***** step foot on here again you won't leave!" headed to get gate opener an Gate! Don't like the feelin of someone on my property that close to where we sleep!
