Need Some Selding Project Ideas

Well, it doesn't look like I am going to get to build my squeeze chute this year, but next year for sure. I want to build something farm/hunting related, but something I will use a lot. I wanted to build a quad-pod, but my dad said no cause it would just sit around. He wants me to build a mineral feeder or a cattleguard, but they seem kind of boring. Im sort of thinking of a hog trap. Any ideas?

I would say go for a hog trap. It was my first real project and I learned a lot. Also its fun to see your finished product catching a whole bunch of piggies!!
