    Peep sight movement

I have a 2009 Reezen that is shooting very well with the exception that I have to twist the peep back to the left every 5th or 6th shot to keep it perfectly aligned. I took it to the bow shop last year for the same thing and I think they put a twist in/ on the bow string but it's still doing it. My question to the green screen - Is this a problem, do I need a new string, or should I keep shooting it, because it's not that big a deal?

Mine does the same, on a Mathews Z7, but it also shoots dead on..I twist it back around about every 10 shots..

Mine Hoyt does it as well.
I've learned to not adjust it.
I shoot with an "improved" peep.
      (A smaller peep hole)
And I just visualize the hole and keep the pin in the middle.

I got rid of my peep for that reason and not being able to see thru it during low light conditions. I think everyone should at least give it a try, after all it doesn't cost anything. If you have good consistant form, you will shoot just as well. just my.02. Good luck.

String is stretched a lil more since they twisted it. Just needs another twist and it will be ok. My bow does that too but i dont wanna twist the strings...

That's really hard to stop as the strings stretch all the time after many shots unless you want to put peep sight tubbing on I just move mine back after a few shots

it is very fixable. without a peep tube, and without an "improved" peep. Just take it to a shop, have them twist the string. shouldnt need a new string to fix, but if you were planning on a new string, now might be a good time.

Not a big deal in my book. I just give it a little twist, after about 4-5 shots.

Look and see if the knots on your D loop are on the same side. This will let the D loop walk around the string. I had the problem. I tied the knots on opposite sides( per the owner of ON TARGET ARCHERY and TAXEDERMY ) and no longer have that problem

Keep working with it and should straighten out or put rubber peep on it. If the strings are real old it makes it harder.

Get better strings and it will stop.

Thanks for all the input! I will probably leave it the way it is for this year.

I would recommend getting the string twisted to correct it, don't want to come to full draw opening morning and have the peep twisted. Had the same problem a few years back and it almost cost me a doe

Get a Kisser button and take the peep off!

windwalker the D loop knots are on opposite side of the string. I didn't know to look for that so I appreciate that tip. I will probably upgrade the string next year.
