I got laid off of my job a little over a week ago, and got a call from Baytown FD to come in for my chief interview, for which I was offered a job pending I pass the psych evaluation and physical, I took my psych eval on Wednesday and just found out today that I didn't pass the psych eval for some reason...not really sure what went wrong, but I'm gonna put all my trust in Him. Darn sure disappointed though...looks like I'll be going to Paramedic school on my own dime afterall.

I'd sure wanna know about the evaluation if that's possible. But God does have a plan. If we'd get in line with it more often ain't no telling what is possible.

I would ask them if you could take it over. We have had guys that just did not get along with the evaluator and passed when they took it over. Good luck.

How did they go about doing this? Was it up to the Chief or HR?
