    Acorn Crop?

Hows everybodies acorn crop looking this year with the drought?

    #2
what there is of them are the size of very small peas....going to be a bad year for acorns... which, for us ..is both good and bad..
Got some nice stands under some choice spots that we were hoping to use the acorns for... bad in that now we'll have just that much more corn to buy at these higher prices...

Most of the acorns here in east Texas are all dried up. Do the acorn rage work very well and how bad do the pigs mess with it?

Try using BB2 (BB squared), using it on my place and they are tearing it up. Plus, its high in protein so its better for them anyways. 20# bag in most places runs 17.99. probably the best advantage of it is that it doesnt clup when wet (if we ever do get rain). it will just dry out to the same powder form.

YEa I dont know how yall afford that stuff. It wouldnt do me any good cuz the neighbors shoot everything that walks but if we get rain our food plots should be great if we get them in in time.

Cabelas had a sale and priced it at $19.99 for the 40# bag. I bought two and am going to start chumming a spot in the woods with it next weekend.. I'll put a camera on it and see if the BB2 has any attractant to it as they claim..
