    rain in SA?

I hear people taking at work about thunder storms and pouring rain etc in SA last night.

    ???????

NO, I commented back. I dont sleep through storms. and I didnt have a drop of rain in the rain gauge or on ANYTHING. and I look outside and EVERYTHING is dry. I live on the south east side, but work at 1604 and NW military.

IF rain happened where and the heck did it happen. people swear they woke up to storms and down pours. I said they were dreaming. and they swear by it!

Nothing out here north of the city. Saw some lightning but no wet stuff.

It rained hard in the Stone Oak area around 4:30 AM. Fell back asleep but don't think it lasted long.

We got about 0.2" in Helotes. My wife asked me if the storms woke me up. I accused her of wishful dreaming until I checked the rain gauge.

Nothing further north, but I saw the water on the road by Marshall/Evans on my in this morning. Wish it would have come up the road a bit.

Nothing on the North East side, either! Still dry as a bone.
