    Buried my BIL this morning

Sunday am my brother in law was tragically killed during a farming / work accident. He was performing service work to a large combine tractor . The tractor was lifted on jacks , the load shifted and the tractor fell , crushing him to death

Otis Lomenick (42 yrs young) was married for 20 yrs and leaves behind two sons ; ages 13 and 8. He was a master welder and thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing.

The most important thing is he accepted Christ in his life several years ago and I know he's in Heaven.

My MIL is devastated as this was her only son and first born child. My FIL suffers from Alztheimers which is getting worse daily. He knows what happened yet his cognitive brain functioning and memory has seen it's better days.

I'm doing my best to be the "rock" as prayer and support from family and friends will get us through this pain . Sad to see my 2 nephews "fatherless" at such a young age.

In several weeks I'm gonna reach out to my SIL and offer to take her sons hunting and fishing if they want. I'll let them make the decision , just wanted to keep the outdoors in their future life.

We're all on borrowed time as each of us has a "check out day". Could be tomorrow , or 20 yrs from now. God has already written each of our stories and knows when we will be angels.

Hug your spouse and kids extra tight today b/c you just never know . Call your mom & dad, and siblings to tell them i love you.

If you have a second, say a prayer for the Lomenick and Langlinais families tonight.

sorry to hear this brother blake.

it scares me every time we lift a combine, cotton picker, tractor or even a car and we are under them working on them.

              Prayers sent!
