Yeah... it's actually stable though... the base probably weighs 20,000 lbs?

its made of a heavy gauge structural steel... old service tower for military aircraft that we bought from Kelly AFB as surplus...

if you look carefully... you can see that the base of box has a heavy gauge steel base frame bolted and welded on to the top... then braced to the side... and then another single piece that goes all the way to the ground to brace the far edge...

I couldn't make it rock an inch if I swayed back and forth hard at the top...

There is an old milk van that washed down the San Saba YEARS ago and came to rest on our place. I shot my first turkey out of that van. Still hunt it occasionally.

Seen a Port-A-Poty blind on a ROW one afternoon. If I ever pass by it again, I'll take a picture.

Might could see the skyline of Dallas on a clear day from that thing

I learned not to make fun of people's deer blinds when my friends let me have it for the one I built this year. It's waaaaayyy overboard but it's permanent on my ranch and I'll be toasty warm when everyone else is gritchin about how cold it is.

I've got about 5 or 6 bucks running together but nothing that has me foaming at the mouth. If I didn't have water I don't know that I would even be seeing deer right now.

                      Are you seeing anything good?

Nothing good at all. Still early though.

Hey smart.....I think I have some scrap lumber I might could loan you. Put that together with a few rocks and you could have you a new blind!
