Who is not sure about deer season

Who is not sure if they can keep there lease this year. I know it's been a tough year for a lot of people. I am not sure about keeping mine, sometimes life sucks.

I feel your pain. I didn't keep my spot. I got a new job to be able to afford new toys and a full membership on the lease (splitting one with my dad). Ironically, I'm now working way too much to be able to go. And our busy season at work just happens to be August to April.

I feel your pain. Got offered a spot on a place with tons of exotics and no way can I afford it. Luckily I can hunt at my house and at a friends place that is close so I can fill my freezer. Although corn is kicking my butt as well.

Sorry to hear. I am glad I have not had to face that problem yet but the budget is getting tight.

I am fixing to spend all my lease money on hay bales to feed my cows. I guess I will just hunt at the farm. I went to Bugschuffel two weeks ago, my wifes christmas gift, I had 5 35"+ axis but on the last day of the hunt. The biggest was at 12' but no clear shot with so many there at once. I would like to take my dad to go after one of the red stag that were coming in. My son had a large fallow buck come in only on the wrong side, he never got a shot.

I was all pumped up for this year and well life happened as usual and had unexpected expenses. I hunt 6 hours from home and 4 dollar gas don't help. Maybe this year I will take the time and hunt close to home. I just can't get the hill country out of my blood. I am still not completely out but it's not looking hopeful. Dont mean to wine but people that are not true outdoor people don't understand.
