We made it home about 8:00. Got macie all snuggled up in bed and we crashed for 2 hours. Now off to work.

Dr appointment today and then we go to pick up her new wheel chair. . Hopefully this on will be more comfy. She just out grew the old one.

Talk about a Friday the 13th!!! We were getting her chair all adjusted and her feed tube came out again. Looks like the balloon isn't holding air. Of course we don't have any new ones with us. So we cleaned it us and inserted it back in and covered with gauge and tape. Now we are at the Er waiting. I have a feeling that if the Gastro Dr is the one that comes in, he is going to get a ear full from both of us. We both over sleep a little this morning so no breakfast (yes that's nobodies fault but ours) but then the General Dr took forever so we had to get straight to wheel chair place, so no lunch. And now this.

Finally made it home. Nothing like a 13hr day for a Dr appointment. Lol. Still have to go back to Gastro Dr and talk about next step. The ER Dr let me snap a picture of the G button, I thought it was pretty neat. Lol

The "balloon at the bottom is what holds it in. After it is inserted, you fill it wit 5cc of water through the port on the right side. This is actually the one that came out. The ballon was deflated. We thought it had a hole but it seems fine. So not real sure. It's a simple procedure that we can do ourselves. But we were out of them. The supply company is a whole different story.

This thread has more lessons than the rest of the internet combined. Macie's family has got to be the most selfless people I've ever read about. I can only imagine their frustration at all the little things that happen but they just seem to grab their lower lip between their teeth and smile.

Thank you for sharing and allowing us to reflect. I think we need to see a picture when Macie gets her new ride!
