Txjourneyman, first I need to apologize for not responding to you Saturday evening concerning meting Sunday morning at the refuge. I hope it didn't set you back any. Again-sorry.
It's bad luck to give coordinates. I hunted Seg B last year and gave my GPS to a fellow TBHr, he checked the spot and considered it for primary/backup. Between the hunts he ended up with back problems and didn't even hunt. Coincience? You tell me.
And to agree with 2050Z- The H is a lot of work, lot of walking, lot of sweat. No feeders, etc. And what is best- no shortcuts. Hunting at it's best IMO. Anyone can shoot one over a pile of corn, just wait until you need to find the perfect spot. And I'm a fairly beginner bowhunter, not proclaiming to know everything.
Just my two cents.
