What others have said is pretty accurate. Usually agencies will offer to put your kid in "classes"(which you pay for) to learn the walk ect... then ask for marketing money like others have said to promote the kid for comercials, sale papers, magazines ect...
HOWEVER, if your kid has what it takes, they will see the TALENT and do what it takes to get a contract with you... pay for all the classes and market for free as long as they get a cut of the contract.
