pay pal question.

Anyone every use pay pal for a large transaction? Like over 10k ? Have some hunters wanttibg to pay via credit card but we sent set up for cards.

It isnt a scam like found on craigs list. This is a hunter who has huntted with us before. He wants to book a large hunt via card.

Pay Pal take a percentage also. I had a $1K buyer on PayPal last year. I would have to look up what their cut was. I would bill the percentange into the deal.

paypal takes around 3% too... I've done a few thousand but not over 10k. Doubt it would be a problem though

The most I have ever done is six thousand...

The credit comes through right away, but the transfer to your personal bank account could be a few days.

Lots of protection via paypal, go for it, I say.

paypal has a limt, but i believe they can lift it

I would take Paypal or Money Order or Cashiers Check any day. There is a lot of protection from Buyer & Seller on Paypal

Paypal will take about 3% like the others. I know alot of people want to use CC's to get air miles, etc. The only advice I have about PP is to transfer your money out of your PP account as quickly as possible once you get it cleared. PP has a tendency to put holds on accounts to do some investigations even if there is no complaint or reason. It usually takes a couple of weeks to clear it up and get the money released.

I only use PP as a last resort due to their non "gun-friendly" position. But, having said that, I've never had a single problem with any transaction through them.
