1st off I'm not an archery shop guru. I can shoot the hell out of my bow but I don't know how to fix it if it's not shooting right. I'm shooting open handed so I'm not torquing, release is good, and I don't notice it at shorter distances. At 40yds I've got what seems to be a 3-4" spiral on the fletch end. It's doesn't seem to effect accuracy at 20-30 but at 40 it's big time! Where do I start looking?

I am not an expert either, but I had that same thing happening to me. You have to play with your arrow spine and tip weight. For me I went to a 125 gr point and went up to the next spine size and the spiraling went away at that distance. Its hard to notice any arrow flight distances at 20. you really see them at 30 yards plus. just my experience. I am sure someone on here can give you more detail!
