Well guys I'm here at my sisters house in Spring getting ready to go meet my parents for my moms admision into Anderson for cancer. My mother has been a nurse for 41 years (16 of those years she worked surgery and the remainder as a school nurse). She is used to takeing care of other people now she is on the other end. My mother has a lot of knowledge when it comes th these things so I know she is scared. The doctors in the Valley had a good idea of the cancers origins but we asked them to stop the testing when we got cell test results back that showed cancer. We want the best care for my mother so we figured come to the best and let them pin point the source and start takeing care of it. We have a long road ahead of us. Please pray for us and nurse Maggie if you can. Thanks. Love you guys.

Prayers sent from the Bernard's.
Things are a little different at MDA, (search some of my posts for our story recap). You will meet some of the most compassionate people in the medical field there, from Drs, nurses and volunteers.
Rest assured, you will be at the top Cancer center in the entire world, their level of redundancy is rediculous but there is a reason for it all.
More important, stay positive.
