Gen 4 Glock 23???

I got a new Gen4 23 .40 for the wife and the first mag out she grouped 4" at 20yds. have put 400 rds through it and it's flawless. but some people have said they heard a lot of bad things about the Gen4. Did i get lucky or am in for it?

My understanding is the early model Gen4's had some trouble. Glock has worked out those kinks and now they are doing much better.

Easily correctible problems (if they ever come up at all). Mostly had to do with the ambi mag release and the new recoil spring/guide design. Do a little reading online.

and also, I believe the problems seemed to happen with 9mm, more than .40.
Although I do want to get my hands on a G4 34, I've seen a 35, but not a 34 yet
