    Computer issue

I took quite a few pics yesterday and have been trying to upload them, to first Kodak. Had issues with my Internet hanging up...so tried another uploader, same problem.

Can restart computer, have no problems getting online (and staying online) until....I try to upload again.

Virus scan says no problem. Malwarebytes has been running for a while and so far, it shows nothing as well.....so far.

Anyone know of something that could be causing this....other than it being a PC? Suggestions?

Anyone have a hook up at Apple.
I CAN stay online with my iPad.

Mary, try disabling your antivirus, malwarebytes, etc....it may see the freight train and block it....could also be a firewall block....

can you try the same scenario with one small file?

Same thing, one file at a time.

doesn't matter where you upload to or how much, it dumps your connection?

Maybe your computer doesn't want 'those kind' of pictures on it.

Getting online doesn't always mean your provider isn't having problems. They could be having problems providing upstream bandwidth...it's rare but I have seen it happen. Same with firewalls, they could be allowing you to surf and retrieve stuff but not send. See if you can send an email...preferably with a non photo file attached.

                  Dell, Windows 7, card/adapter - Intel WiFi Link 5300?

I would think that could be the case, except I can work and do anything I need to do, UNTIL I try to upload. I did start with multiple file uploads, but after restarting my computer and trying that twice, I restarted and tried to upload one. That caused a hang up as well.

I left the computer (frustrated), came back a while later...working fine until I try to upload one image again. Hang up.

Malewarebytes came back clean as well.

Not sure what is going on, but something is definitely not right.

Better late than never - you may have already figured it out. Do you get an error message when uploading? Are you able to email the same file to someone as an attachment?
