Live rabbit hunt in my back yard

Been seeing tons of rabbit activity at night. Got my bow dialed in with the new sight. Got the flood lights on, sitting in my enclosed porch with the ceiling fan on. Bow and judo point ready. Hoping for some ldps. This is what happens when the wife goes out of town. Please Lord make it be deer season. 64 days

      Be careful.
      Rabbits are destructive and dangerous.

So far my only visitor is a squirrel on top of the fence. Won't risk putting an arrow outside my own yard.

Struck me as odd too. My copenhagen has run out of flavor and my can is empty. Might have to suspend the hunt for a few minutes to get more. No rabbits yet.

Took a quick break to run to the corner store and restock on cope. 2 rabbits hanging out in the neighbors front lawn. Tempting, but not gonna risk it.

                  Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Just fried up 2 rabbits the other day that we shot at the lease. Mmmmmm. Worms and all! =)

                    Rabbit dogs

I've got some Beagles in my avatar that would give them a run they wouldn't soon forget.

^^^^ only way to eat them.... up North this is what young hunters cut their teeth on... and tree rats as well... Love me some rabbit.. but we don't see cottontails up this way only Jack rabbits and I don't know if I would use them for car oil... they are rough looking

I think I'm calling it in an hour. Maybe check my front lawn. I wonder if they won't come in because if the flood lights

Just nailed one in the back yard. Judo point went right through him, and he ran off with my arrow. Hope a neighbor doesn't find it and suspect me. My next door neighbor knows and hates them because they drown in his pool all the time, so hopefully if it ran into someones yard to die, it's his. He's all for it.
