    NFL: Significant Trade Activity!

Donovan McNabb to Minnesota: Great place for him. Probably do very well in that system and being inside.

Reggie Bush: Daggit, hate losing him as a SAINT but he was due over $7 million. Not sure what Miami's plan is for him. Would have been a great "flanker" type player with our new running back in NOLA. Oh well.

Brett Favre may come back to be a back up for Vic from what i hear.
Vince Young still has not found a home yet (no surprise there)
Albert Haynesworth is headed to the Patriots
Plaxico Burress is going to either the Giants or Steelers.

Sure wish we coulda kept Reggie but guess the couldn't work out a deal. I was hoping they could sign him for 4-5 million a year for 2 more years but guess they couldn't. Oh well I wont hold my breath every time he gets hit now worrying he will get hurt. Time to unleash the Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas pain train.

Cant believe the Pats are taking Haynesworth big lazy butt and if Favre comes back as a backup that is just pathetic.

Brett Farve agreed to back up in Seattle! Are you serious?
I hear that an Oakland CB is headed to Houston!

Reggie wanted more touches and with Sean Payton's offense, Brees distributes the ball evenly to everyone . MIA promised him what he wanted as we'll see how often he gets the rock , and how he performs.

w/out #25 , the Saints don't win a SuperBowl . He was a key role player in the offense, although he was overpaid and never lived up to his college hype. I thank him for his services and wish him well in MIA.

in 5 yrs, he only played 1 complete season due to injuries , and avg'd 4.0 ypc . Flashy at times, yet ran East & West waaaaay to often

with Reggie's departure, it saves NO $16M against the salary cap ... that $$$ needs to be spent securing Lance Moore , Bushrod, and other players who PERFORM on the field.

Glad he's in the AFC and not with Tampa Bay who we have to face 2x's per year or in the PO's

          who dat

i just don't see what is so great about Reggie Bush. Haynesworth will play better in NE if that is where he is goin. not sure how i feel about the Favre thing. i guess if i could go make a nice paycheck and not really do anything i probably would.

VY is still a Titan and no team is going to work a trade for him when they know that the Titan's are going to cut him since him and Fisher can't get along. Once this happens, you will see several teams looking to sign him. I hope he ends up in Miami.

I thought VY was an Eagle now. If so it sucks for the Cowboys.

                  Just in on Twitter:

Hearing Houston has moved into the lead for Nnamdi Asomugha. Money will be in the 12-14 mill per year range. Revis makes 11.5 per year.

Lance Moore signed a 5 year deal yesteday, very happy the re-signed him.

I sure hope the Texans get Asomugha. He is a stud and would play a vital part in the Texans terrible secondary.

Hope this goes through, if so it could make them a possible contender assuming everyone else stays healthy.

Why does it suck for the cowboys?

Thats probably the best place for him, plus Miami needs a QB

He makes other offensive skilled players better b/c he demands so much attention from defenders when on the field

Pros: RB is a defensive coordinators worst nightmare. when on the field, he has to be accounted for at all times. he is a HUGE mismatch vs. LB's when in the slot, or comes out the backfield in motion. Has the ability to score on any play when he touches the ball. in open field, he is dangerous and electric at times (i.e. Devin Hester) .

cons: often injured and frail, pouts on the sidelines when he doesn't get touches, tendency to fumble during key moments of game, does to much "juking" and needs to run North .

RB is NOT a prototypical NFL running back. He's best when used as a decoy, or when the QB can get him the ball in the open field.

                              overpaid - yes ($11.8M / year )

would I want him on my team at $4M / year - without a doubt
