Alvord, TX

Anyone here live in or near Alvord? My Dad's Goldwing fell over inside of our trailer and he needs some help standing it up and strapping it back down. He is in a campground for the night. He was on his way to Alaska for a month and is already having a bad time. Mirror is broken on the Goldwing so he is going to head back to Houston to get it fixed.

There's a Honda shop in grapevine. Which is about 1.5 hours from where he's at. I'm about 30 min from him if he needs any help.

going back to H-Town may not help. Call ahead on his route and see if you can find a new or used mirror.

Nope. The Honda shop closed almost a year ago. And the Yamaha shop and the Polaris shop wouldn't have that on there shelves. Like another guy said, there is sure to be a shop on his way to were he's going.

I told him to duct tape it but he didn't like that idea. Sounds like the mirror itself is fine but the bracket that holds it to the fairing is what is broken. I looked up the number for both dealers and gave them to Dad. Thanks for the help guys!

I know this has nothing to do with your post but I hate Alvord with a passion, I was crippled playing football against the Alvord Bull Dogs in 1977, I rode in a station wagon all the way back to Muenster where the legendary DR Knight performed surgery on me, he was the Cowboys physician back then, I shared a room with Ralph Neely for a few hours, sorry for the hijack, carry on.
