Never mind the hairy knuckles. These were cut within a 1/2" of my draw length.

That all depends on the operator. Good length for safety reasons, but mine only sit about 3/4" in front of my rest.

Oh my . . . I have the same drop zone rest and the end of my shaft sits about 1" in front of where it sits on the "launcher rod" - it's not even up to the Berger hole. I 've always shot some sort of overdraw - old habits are hard to break I guess.
