TX steele creep feed is a cattle feed and you should be able to find it at any feed store. TSC has it too.

Thanks guys for the info. I think I'm going to try a few different ones and see which one they like better. Any more input?

We use a blend of Lyssy&Echols+Soybean+Corn (mix it 50/25/25).......its a constant deer party at our stations.

          Good luck.

                How big are the pelets?

Can it be used in a free flow feeder?

Can you buy it at a standard feed store?
Creep feed is meant for cows, goats, sheep, ect. to get them on just before they are weaned. It is a small pellet like what deer protein feed. You can buy it anywhere feed is sold, but it does not have the moisture guard on it which makes a difference. Yeah, I know, what moisture, but it doesn't take much to clog things up. It is great for a free flow feeder or trough.

I have not had any issue with moisture as of yet. When we have gotten rain it has not clogged the feeder and has not swollen up. Now if I get a ton of rain or it sits in water yes it has.

We use a custom 20% from Martindale Feed Mill, the Axis and Whitetails do well on it. Our Axis are all over corn as well.
