Can anyone tell me what this is. It moved and acted like an ant. This sucker is huge!!! What is it?

We call em Buffalo Ants, dont know what they are really called or what they do.

That is a Velvet ant A.K.A. Cowkiller. It is actually a wingless wasp.

I always called em army ants. Hard to kill by stepping on when they are not on a hard surface.
