Eliminator spin plate for a 6 volt feeder?

Looks like "The Eliminator" only fits the 1/4 shaft of a 12 volt feeder motor. Anybody know if there is a way to adapt it so it will fit the smaller shaft on a 6 volt?

    I'm watching this closely....as I have 4 6v Texas Hunter Products feeders.

I have heard people using them on 6v units..I got mine setup on my new Krivoman feeder and Ultramatic control unit. Can't wait to get it all setup.

I got no help for you on your question. How you are doing after the bike wreck. A little sore I am sure.

They fit any 1/4 shaft, whether its 12 or 6 volt. I am running several of them on 6 volt motors with 1/4 shafts and they throw corn plenty far. They say they just wont work on the smaller motors with the 1/8 in shafts. I dont know the reason but i dont think the shaft would be tall enough on the smaller motors to support it.

Much better, thanks. Stitches are getting itchy and my arm is still sore from that dang tetanus shot - feels like I got "frogged" by Mike Tyson!

I bet a roll pin glued onto your 6volt shaft would work.

I believe it will not work on a 1/8 shaft because the shaft is just to thin and the spinner plat is pretty big and heavy duty so I would believe that it would put to much pressure on the shaft causing it to break of pretty easy. Just my thinking on the subject, the eliminators are the bomb though! When the feeders go off, most of the time the coons come right to it like the hogs and deer

Hadn't thought about that but it may be that a 6 volt motor won't provide enough torque to activate the spring or whatever holds it closed.

The 1/8" shaft motors turn plenty of RPM's, but are not as heavy duty, therefore you run a greater risk of burning up the motor with the heavier plate.

"Frogged", heheh. That brings back memories.

Any reason you couldn't just change out the motor & battery with a 12V set? The Eliminator is awesome!
