    Austin area bulk corn $

What is the best price on 100# around - I just called and it was $13 where I usually buy. Anyone doing any better?

Dont think so David- I think they are gonna claim it as a loss and turn it over where it stands. I might be wrong but I drove by today and it didnt look worth the money in diesel fuel to harvest.

Who did you call. Try Taylor grain.I'll don't have the name of the place in seguin but I'll call and see what it's going for.A month ago it was 1180.

Foy Make sure you check the bearings before you go. I would like to know the price you find, as I go that way when I head to my dad's in Pipe Creek and could make a detour.

I paid $11.50 2 weeks ago in Seguin. Cleaner than 90% of the sacked corn I've used.

I'm checking with my friend in Salado. His family owns farms around Taylor area and he's been starting to bag corn or sell it in bulk. Really clean corn.

If you want 50# bags he can probably deliver along IH35 in Georgetown since he lives in Salado and corn is in Taylor. For bulk you have to go to Taylor.

Left him a message and will try back tomorrow if he doesn't call back.

There may be a "finders fee" for anyone going up there. I just need about 300 lbs delivered to my house. I'm fine with the bags. I'm out close by Lake Georgetown.
