Stop your dog barking
If this is out of line due to a sponsor or another rule I am sure the mods will take care of it and sorry in advance. I do not work for or get anything for this review I just purchased the product and it worked and I see a lot of folks on here asking about bark collars.
My dog barks. I used to like it because it let people know there is a dog here stay away. Well the past year as she turned 8 (not sure if that has anything to do with it) she started to bark a lot. The fence on the side of our yard goes along the neighborhood sidewalk so we get a lot of traffic and she has gone to non stop barking. I used to let her out at 5:30 every morning while I got my coffee and now I can't leave her or she goes nuts and won't stop. My dog is not aggressive. You can come in the fence and she will lick your face off. She just barks at what she can not see or squirrels.
My wife is dead set against a bark collar and I was close to saying the dog is getting one anyways when we where in Bed Bath and Beyond and she sees a little (as tall as and half as wide as a pack of cigs) white box saying it will stop your dog from barking. The product is called Bark Off and takes on 9 vlt battery and has a little holder you can put up with a nail or screw. Cost 9.00 dollars. I figured there is no way this tiny piece of junk is gonna work. I was sure once it failed I would get no more argument on the bark collar. Long story short I took it home and put the battery in and hung it on the back porch. The barking has stopped! She will bark once occasionally but then she just kind of whines and growls a little. It has been two weeks and I can leave her out for hours to bask in the sun with no barking. This product absolutely worked for me and is cheap as can be.
