Help Me Purchase A Game Cam

Trying to decide between a Stealth Cam Jim Shockey or a Stealth Cam Prowler XT

They're both on sale about $10.00 difference but if you have some pics or video of either to compare day or night I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys/girls.

Don't buy a stealth. I have had a couple and they were terrible. Much better cameras to be had for the same money.

      Primos 36, 46, or 60. All I use now. Best I've had.

Ok I'm wanting a good cam and video cam combo IR non-Flash. SD card and most importantly option to hook it up to a 12v battery.

        Pics/videos would be appreciated.

I would pass on the Stealth. I'd look at the Primos cameras in that price point if you can handle 1 minute delays and a 5 minute delay on the newer ones.

I have tried just about every camera out there, not saying that they are any better than the others but for the price I am kind of digging the new Moultrie M-80's. It seems to be performing along with my Bushnell Trophy Cams and IMO they are easier to use and program.

You can read about every camera known to man on this site.

we have Bushnell, Cuddeback, Primos, Moutrie. None of them work like they are advertised.

I have the Stealth cams and the Bushnell TC. The Bushnell TC is the hands down winner.

Heres a thread with the Stealth cam pics:

And heres the Bushnell TC pics:

I was testing an M80 at home and the battery life started at 99% on new duracells and just being in my house for 3 days was down to 80%. Is that normal?

Take a drive to Emory Texas and see what Hooten's Hardware has to offer my friend.

Primos Truth Cam 60 hands down....My cuddebacks are about to go in the trash. The captures SUCK...BTC has nothing on primos. Trying out M80 now after seeing CornSlingers excellent pics.

Primos 60 hooks up to External Battery pack. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM STEALTH

I've got five Scoutguard 550's. I can find no fault in this camera.... none. They have all worked perfectly and at least four months on battery life. Good pictures both day and night and fast trigger time. Last time I purchased, they were running $209 at www.stuntcams.com .

If you go this way, be sure to get the newer model that accepts 32Mb SD cards... http://stuntcams.com/shop/scoutguard...2gb-p-160.html

I bought a camera from these guys years ago worked perfectly till this year, I think the heat and sun finally did it in. I just bought a lil acorn from them. Going to set it up in the backyard for a week or two before taking it to the lease.
