    Carport Recomendations

I'm going to have a carport installed at my place in Sweeny. Anyone have a good review or point me to someone they know or have used that installs them in the Brazoria County area? I'm just going to get a cheap regular old carport 20x21 metal carport. What do you know?

And can anyone tell me if 20x21 is wide enough for a Suburban and full-size truck?

20 x 21 is fine, but spend the extra $$$$ on 8 foot legs and added supports.

Also, is it worth the extra money for 12 ga vs 14 ga on the frame?

As you can see there is adequate room to open the doors on either side. I bought this from a company in Victoria. They came out and installed it. I went 12 gague with one side enclosed.

Simek, do you know the name of the company? Were you happy with their service/product?

Not really. Will be very tight fit. Spend a few more $ and get at least a 25' wide. You will be glad you did.

I have to put 2 of these next to each other and was hoping not to have to put 50x21 worth of covers up. But maybe I will have to.

I'm pretty sure it was this company: http://www.texascarports.com/.

I was very pleased with their service. They had it up in about 5-hours.

These folks put ours up. We got taller legs and extra braces and they are great. They have a double-double kit that puts 2 carports together. They travel all around the Houston area, saw them headed out 10 west in Katy last week.

Stan go talk to James Spencer in NZ. The one I had on the old place that you came to I bought from him. He is across the side street on the corner from NZ Grocery. Tell him I sent you.
