string stretch

got a new string. shot my bow and was hitting 8 inches high. re sighted it in. by my 50th arrow this evening i was hitting 2 inches low. does a new string stretch that much????

It sure could. Check your axle to Axel length.

Some custom string makers will pre-stretch strings at 300 lbs tension to minimize stretch

It all depends how and who makes the strings

100 shots is what I do before I start fine tuning the aiming process, or start tuning

alright, that makes me feel better. i normaly shoot trad bows and get an 1 1/2" of stretch out of a flemish string. just didnt know what to expect with a wheel bow.
