Just got my bow fixed...new limbs. and have finally started shooting again, getting ready for the upcoming season. I try to shoot every day. and shoot from 12 to 18 arrows each session. I found that if i shoot a lot i tend to get tired and then start shooting very badly. to me it is better to shoot a few each day and end on a good note. Just wondering what everyone else does. What is your regement?........Shoe

I shoot daily about 20-40 arrows - small back yard, so all that's within 20yrds, and have been doing a weekly evening 3d league, good for 40 shots + warmup. Will do some longer practice on the weekends as time permits.
That's trad. I don't shoot my compound nearly as much any more. Just shoot occasionally with it when I can practice longer ranges.

30 minute sessions 3-4 days a week and at least one session of at least 80 arrows. I compete nationally against some of the best archers in the country- field archers.
Although I compete only in 3D, the field archers have distinct advantage because when they compete, they are shooting 80 -120 arrows. When they come to a 3D shoot, they are barely warmed up with our 20-30 targets and the rest of the 3D archers are worn out and can barely complete the course as well as they started it.

Not near enough, I used to shoot daily and a lot of arrows, I agree with Pistol on the field archery, I used to shoot tournaments a lot and got into the field archery for practice, had no interest in it but was coaxed by other shooters, You got 30 3-d targets and 28 field targets, In field you shoot 4 arrows at each one and you shoot out to 80 yards, well I don't need that, I will never shoot at an animal that far was my thinking. Well let me tell you that when you are practicing at 50 yards and farther, those 20 and 30 yard shots to the feeder seem a lot easier
