What are you going to try new or different this hunting season. I am going to put out a tripod and hunt mainly from it this year. Maybe put the pop up out earlier this time around. Yall going to try any new products this year? Different broad heads or arrows? Let's hear it y'all.

I got a pronghorn and mule deer tag this year....never thought I would get to hunt either of those


And going on two elk hunts as a spotter.

use a climbing stand for the first time. I found one on my father in laws place that looked like it had been sitting under this tree for several years. I practiced a little with it this past weekend. hopefully I will not kill myself

Going to spend more time glassing for muleys that I usually do.

Prob won't sit in the treestand chasing whitetails as much.

moving to a whole new area on my lease, that i spent alot of time sitting on the ground with a gun last year and saw where the deer were moving thru. So i have a couple of lean stands set up, and im putting a ground blind out in a couple of weeks, hopefully my scouting pays off and i stick a mature buck finally!! If not atleast i know where the does are!! Oh yeah i built a box blind to take the boys and have a feeder a bout 70 yards out for them.

I'm gonna go on some semi-guided day hunt trips instead of a lease. Somebody else is out setting up blinds and filling feeders and checking cameras and....... I'm gonna show up and hunt.

Move closer to stock tanks. Water may be a stronger attractant this year than corn or protein.
