Check out Boone and Crocket and Pope and Young web site and for Texas, check out the Texas Bowhunting/Bowfishing Records web site...

I did not see a separate section of the state records.

Google is your friend...here are two of them...

Jeff Duncan had the #1 archery non-typical with Big Boy from Hagerman but I can't remember if that deer killed East of Dallas surpassed him or not. Jeff's deer was in the 230s

On edit here is all I could find on Jeff's deer....most articles have expired....

The East Texas deer didn't surpass him, but there was another deer killed last year that was bigger, IIRC. Not sure it was publicized all that much, or even entered in any record books.

The OP probably needs to define whether he's looking for TBGA records, B&C/P&Y records, etc.

The Texas archery typical record is like 181 or 182 net and killed in the Panhandle last year, unless the Terry buck from the King Ranch netted higher.

Texas rifle typical netted around 196/197, if I remember correctly. Non typical was a pick up that scored in the mid 280's.

TBGA includes HF bucks. DISCLAIMER I have nothing against that. I was just looking for bucks that would be eligible for World Records, so I could compare Texas to the rest of North America.

I knew the Duncan Buck was the NonTypical record, but I couldn't find the info on it. Was is shot in Grayson County?
