Guys, just a word of warning to those who might forget and leave items in your vechicle that can be seen by those who pass by. Last week I and a fellow employee had a meeting downtown Houston with a client. Afterwards we stopped to have lunch at beltway 8 and I-10. When we came back to my truck about 30 minutes later, someone had hammered out my passenger side window. I looked in the console of the truck and my GPS with $65 cash was laying where I left it. It seemed nothing was stolen. The cops came and told me 3 more trucks were broken into in that area over a 10 minute period. The person riding with me begin pointing to my TBH sticker saying, that my truck was broken into because someone thought I had a gun in the truck and I should promply remove that sticker. I calmly reminded her the sticker was a BOW HUNTING STICKER!! The funny part is (the only funny part) that when we arrived at our office, she then realized her day planner bag was missing. The whole snatch & grab was because she left her day planner that had handles on it in the front seat in plain site. The thevies thought it was a computer bag. In the end, the thevies will now know what day it is for the next year and I had to pay $196.41 for a new window. Please keep items in your pickup out of site so the $^%^$&%@!@ will have nothing to just snatch & grab. Just a lesson learned I wanted to pass along.

Had the same situation happen a few years ago at a duplex I was living in. The lady next door had her care broken into because her five year old daughter left a small kid's purse on the front seat. Thief made away with some folded up notes, a couple of pens and a crayon. The child was devastated, unfortunately.
