did they just wear out over time or did they go out pretty quick after you got them?
I've used 'em for a couple of years and not had a lot of problems but you definitely get what you pay for. The only problem I have is the flash which is easily seen from a distance and easily stolen from the tree to which they are attached. Other than that, I'll continue to use the remaining 50's I have left.
They are good enough for $50 bucks. Mine lasted about a year, and took so so pics. Then they croaked. I took them back to Academy and traded them off. That was back when they were around a hundred bucks.
I also tried out an I 35 and was impressed with it. Lesser camera but does well I have some pictures posted with both cameras on management link. The pictures displaying my name are the I-35 The T-Camera ones are and I-65
I have always used D40, but the last 2 whos flashes croaked on me were replaced with brand new D50 cameras from Moultree. As long as they keep sending me a new camera every time their old one stops working they will have my business
I bought d50 3 years ago for $100 had it running for 2 years straight then started having problems took it back to academy and traded it for ir55. Good cam for $50 bucks
