    Cameron's wraps save the day!!

I tried a live hunt but no reception from the tree stand
Hit this sow with a big hammerhead, she made it 50 yards.
    No blood, poor penetration since
My bow isn't cranked up yet. Pulling 60 pounds.
No blood but I heard her crash and squeal and then The woods went quiet.
After a 45 minutes of looking in heavy brush my flashlight picked up cameron's reflective wraps!!! Woohoo.
Backtracked from her and found a very poor blood trail. Blood didn't go back to the kill spot.

    Thanks Cameron!

Good deal! 60lbs is plenty enough.

Yes it is. I've killed lots of pigs and deer with a 62 pound bow.

I'm trying out these big cut BH's and I think I need a little more pepper on the arrow to punch through both sides.
I'm sure a drought stressed hill
Country doe couldn't handle this BH as well as a pig.

That is truly a big pig! I shot a 212 out of the same stand as I killed this pig tonight.
I can't imagine a pig that big! Very cool. To me, that is like shooting a smart old buck.

I'm shooting slightly less than 55lbs and it always puts them right down. Don't worry so much about poundage, think "shot placement"

                          I've killed a 220lb sow, and several smaller pigs 40, 75, 100, 140. They all died within 75 yards.

                          Congrats on the pig.
