how much to feed

Ok, im out with a friend and we're setting up a couple of new feeders. The feeders are the 40# bucket moultree that were on sale not long ago.

Question is how long would be a good starting point to set the feeder for? Im guessing for sure feed twice a day right?

Im getting him into our addiction.

I have three of those. I set them out to pick new stand locations and monitor.

Anyway I have mine set for 3 secs morn and eve. It last a month.

So if you want to refil every two weeks you can set on 6 secs... I set them out for a month at 3 secs and put a game carea on them.

I hung one down next to my pond. It works great for as little as it is.
I just wanted to throw into the pond and on the edge.
It works great.
But you can throw it for 3 seconds in morning - lasts about 5 weks

How often can you fill it? If not very often then don't feed very much....corn right now will not do anything to the deer (as far as nutrition). You need to figure out how much you can afford to throw, what benefit it is doing, and how often can you fill it.....that will tell you how much to throw....
